The tool uses Chatterbox, an open-source voice model released under the MIT licence. It listens to your short sample, learns the sound of the voice and then reads your script in that voice. Long scripts are split at full stops and joined back together with natural pauses.
Everything runs on your own phone or computer through the browser. That's why it's free: there is no server reading your audio, and your sample and script are never uploaded. The first run downloads the voice engine once; after that it opens in seconds.
The sample decides the quality. Record in a quiet room, hold the phone a hand's width from your mouth and speak the way you want the video to sound. Avoid music, echo and other voices in the clip.
Write the script the way people talk: short sentences, commas where you would breathe, and numbers written as words when they matter ("two thousand" rather than "2000"). If one line sounds off, change a word or two and make it again.
A computer with Chrome or Edge is the fastest. Newer Android phones work too, but a long script can take a few minutes on a phone.
Faceless channels (stories, facts, history, finance and top-10 lists) need a steady voice in every video. Cloning one voice you own and using it across your uploads keeps your channel sounding the same without hiring a voice artist or paying for a monthly plan.

Not yet. The voice model speaks English, which suits most YouTube automation channels made for US and UK viewers. Roman Urdu text is read with an English accent, so we don't recommend it for Urdu videos.
